What the event is
HTX is running a Black Friday promotion for futures traders from 10:00 UTC on November 5, 2026 to 10:00 UTC on November 15, 2026. Completing futures trading tasks earns entries into a lucky draw. HTX lists prizes of $11, $111, $1,000 and up to $1,111, which it calls a shopping allowance.
Despite the Black Friday theme, the prizes are not shopping vouchers. HTX says cash USDT rewards are paid as the equivalent amount of HTX tokens and credited to the winner’s HTX account. You also have to click Register Now on the event page first: only trading after you register counts.
How you earn draw entries
Entries depend on which group you fall into. HTX sets the following tasks and limits:
Entry tasks by user group
| User group | Who qualifies | Tasks | Maximum entries |
|---|---|---|---|
| New traders | Have never traded futures | One entry each for: a first transfer of $200 to the Futures account with SmartEarn enabled; a first futures copy trade of at least $200; a first futures trade of at least $300 | 3 |
| Inviters | All users | One entry per valid invitee, up to 2 a day | 22 |
| Returning users | No futures trades in the past 30 days | One entry each for reaching $500 and $5,000 in futures volume; then one entry per $10,000 (up to 2 a day), per $30,000 (up to 3 a day) and per $100,000 (up to 3 a day) | 90 |
| Active traders | Futures trades in the past 30 days | One entry for reaching $500 in futures volume; then one entry per $10,000 (up to 2 a day), per $30,000 (up to 3 a day) and per $100,000 (up to 3 a day) | 89 |
A valid invitee is a friend who registers an HTX account and trades at least $1,000 in futures during the event. Figures as published by HTX on November 5, 2026.
Rules that limit what counts
The terms add several conditions that are easy to miss:
- Only trades on which you paid a trading fee count. Zero-fee trades, market maker or negative fee rates, fee rebate vouchers and futures coupons are excluded.
- Futures copy trading and futures grid trading volume count toward the total. Daily tasks reset at 00:00 UTC.
- Prizes are limited each day and given out first come, first served. If a prize type has run out for the day, you can still draw, and that draw does not use up an entry.
- HTX says it will disqualify accounts that inflate volume, use fake accounts, wash trade or match orders, and it can change or cancel the event at any time.
What it costs to take part
A draw entry is not a prize. Every qualifying trade carries a fee, and the larger entry counts require tens of thousands of dollars in futures volume, so the fees can add up to more than you are likely to win.
Futures trading usually involves leverage, so price moves can cause losses well beyond any prize, including liquidation of your position. Prizes are also paid in HTX tokens, whose value can fall after you receive them. Trade only as much as you would without the event.
Check whether you can use HTX
In 2026, the UK and the EU took action against HTX under their Russia sanctions, which can prohibit people subject to those rules from dealing with HTX at all. HTX disputes the UK designation. HTX also restricts some countries and regions in its own terms. Check the rules that apply to you before you register for the event.
